Larimar
is a blue pectolite, and a result of volcanic
activity, which occurred many million years ago on
the island of la "La Hispañola".
Its crystallization took place when the volcanic lava
was cooling off as columns in the tubular "chimneys",
in which these pectolites, andesites, basalts and
other minerals formed.

Amber
is a hardened tree resin, consisting of compounds
of terpenes, alcohols, and esters. Trees produced
it as protection against disease and insect infestation
when the bark of a tree was opened due to limb that
broke away or attacks by wood-boring beetles, or for
other reasons. After oozing out, it hardened in wet
sediments, such as clay and sand that formed at the
bottom of lagoons or river deltas and was preserved
in the earth's crust for millenniums.

Global
Suppliers Specializing in Larimar, Amber and Conch Jewelry.
From the mountain (a volcano approximately
40-50 million years ago), down an adjacent river, into
the Caribbean Sea flowed a small amount of Larimar 35-45 million
years ago where it was initially found. Today it is mined within
the rugged mountain at three thousand feet using primitive methods.

We import, export, and manufacture high end sterling
silver, gold and fine fashion jewelry for wholesalers, designers,
distributors, dealers, worldwide at wholesale pricing.
We specialize in Larimar, Amber and
Conch jewelry. We are proud to offer the new semi-precious Larimar,
in all stages such as rough, stone, beads, cabochons and finished
jewelry. We do not dye or enhance the natural color of the stones,
or heighten low grade Larimar. We only offer high quality natural
Dominican Larimar and Amber, and do not sell any plastic or artificial
products.
